This mission aims to identify, assess, and promote investment opportunities with high potential for sustainable job creation in the targeted country/region of origin among members of the diaspora. We are seeking concrete and viable projects in key sectors such as agriculture, craftsmanship, green technologies, and local services. The goal is to facilitate diaspora co-investment by providing both capital and managerial or technical expertise to support the economic and social development of the territory.
Impacts/objectifs
Create at least 500 direct and indirect jobs over a three-year period in the targeted regions. Stimulate the local economy through productive investments and the valorization of endogenous resources. Strengthen economic and social ties between the diaspora and their country of origin by promoting the transfer of essential skills and know-how.
Détails des contributions
The diaspora is invited to contribute in several ways:
Capital investment: Directly invest in selected projects.
Expertise and mentorship: Share technical, managerial, or entrepreneurial skills with local project leaders.
Networking: Facilitate connections with potential partners, clients, or markets.
The profiles sought include investors, experienced entrepreneurs, sector experts (finance, agronomy, tech, etc.), and development professionals.
Conditions de la mission
Commitment to sustainable development and the creation of positive social impact. Investment capacity (a minimum capital may be defined per project) or availability for regular mentorship (minimum 4 hours per month). Adherence to principles of transparency and good governance. Willingness to actively participate in project selection and monitoring.
