This mission aims to mobilize the expertise and networks of the diaspora to strengthen and expand the influence of the World Festival of Black Arts (FESTAC). It will involve contributing to the strategic structuring of the event, enhancing its international visibility, and diversifying its funding sources. Actions will include developing digital communication plans, seeking cultural and institutional partnerships, and proposing innovative content for future editions, in order to ensure the sustainability and global reach of this Pan-African cultural heritage.
Impacts/objectifs
- Increase the international visibility and attractiveness of FESTAC by 25% for the next edition.
- Establish at least 3 new strategic partnerships with cultural institutions or diaspora organizations.
- Develop a roadmap for digital communication and fundraising strategy, ready for implementation within the next 12 months.
- Strengthen diaspora participation in the festival’s programming and organization.
Détails des contributions
We are seeking diaspora professionals with expertise in cultural project management, digital communication and marketing, fundraising and partnerships, cultural program development, and international relations. Key profiles include cultural managers, communication specialists, fundraisers, curators, and PR experts.
Conditions de la mission
Volunteer commitment with a minimum availability of a few hours per week. Strong teamwork and remote communication skills are required, along with proficiency in online collaborative tools. Prior knowledge of FESTAC or the African cultural ecosystem is an asset. Participation in regular online meetings is expected.
