Over the years, exposure to weather conditions and lack of maintenance have led to visible wear, fading inscriptions and structural decline of the "Welcome to Kumba" signboard, located at the main entrance of the City. There is therefore a pressing need to renovated and modernize the entrance sign to reflect a welcoming, dynamic, and forward-looking city.
