The Limbe City Council seeks to modernize its operations and improve the quality of public services offered to its citizens. This mission aims to strengthen the skills of its teams in key areas such as urban management, strategic planning, service digitalization, and resource mobilization. We wish to collaborate with the diaspora to bring expertise and innovative approaches, thereby addressing current gaps and promoting sustainable local development and more effective governance.
Impacts/objectifs
Improve the efficiency of the Limbe municipal administration by 20% within 18 months through the implementation of new working methods and digital tools. Strengthen transparency and citizen participation by establishing communication and consultation platforms. Develop the Council’s capacity to design and manage local development projects, particularly in infrastructure and social services, by leveraging the international experience of the diaspora. Contribute to better urban planning.

We are seeking members of the diaspora with proven expertise in the following fields:
Urban Planning and Spatial Development (architects, urban planners, civil engineers, land management experts).
Public Administration and Local Governance (municipal management experts, decentralization specialists, public policy experts).
Digital Transformation and Information Systems (IT specialists, developers, e-governance experts, cybersecurity professionals).
Project Management and Development Financing.
Conditions de la mission
Participants will benefit from logistical support from the Municipal Council for on-site missions (access to facilities and key contacts). A stable internet connection is required for remote work. A sustained commitment (a few hours per week or occasional missions) is expected to ensure effective follow-up. Proficiency in French is essential, while English would be an asset. Flexibility and adaptability are highly valued.
