The city of Bamenda faces significant challenges regarding youth integration, including high unemployment, limited access to quality vocational training, and concerning school dropout rates, particularly in vulnerable communities. This mission aims to support and strengthen existing municipal programs to improve access to quality education, develop practical skills, and promote youth employment. This includes support for school infrastructure, educational resources, vocational training centers, scholarship programs, and youth entrepreneurship initiatives.
Impacts/objectifs
1. Reduce youth unemployment and school dropout rates in targeted communities.
2. Improve access to quality vocational training and entrepreneurship for young people.
3. Strengthen the capacity of vocational training centers and schools by improving infrastructure and teaching resources.
4. Increase the economic independence of young people through support for small business creation and scholarship programs.
Détails des contributions
The diaspora is invited to contribute its technical expertise (vocational training, digital skills, project management, entrepreneurship), financial support (scholarships, equipment, infrastructure, educational materials), and its network for advocacy and mentorship. Profiles sought include educators, trainers, experienced entrepreneurs, ICT experts, and development professionals.

Close collaboration with the Bamenda municipality, local organizations (NGOs, training centers), and international partners. On-site or remote work depending on the type of contribution. Adherence to local policies and ethical frameworks for child and youth protection.
